The DDMS 2.0 project is one of the initiatives under the National Key Economic Area (NKEA), Communications, Content and Infrastructure (CCI), Economic Driving Project (EPP6) e-Government - Implementation of Paperless Government: Digital Document Management System (DDMS 2.0) Sector Public.
The Malaysian Administration and Management Planning Modernization Unit (MAMPU) in collaboration with the National Archives of Malaysia (ANM) and the Office of the Chief Security Officer of the Malaysian Government (CGSO) has developed DDMS 2.0 to manage digital records for their entire life cycle, from the process of creation and capture, storage and digital maintenance, use and access, as well as disposal.
